The legendary Ivan Marks.

Details of 2012 competition announced by Mallory Park Fisheries.

Mallory Park Fisheries has announced the dates for the eight annual Ivan Marks Memorial Match.

Being held in May, the event sees two days of action across The Glebe Pools and Foundation Lake. And, being open to all anglers, it’s a great opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the UK’s top matchmen.

The angler who records the biggest weight over the weekend will receive the highly-coveted Ivan Marks Memorial Trophy. Which will be awarded by Linda Marks and the legendary angler’s son Chris.

Entry to the competition is £20, all of which goes to the Ivan Marks Memorial Fund. There will also be an optional pool on both days.

The dates for the competition are Saturday May 19 and Sunday May 20. Places are limited to 100 per day, so if you are interested in taking part don’t delay.

The draw on both days will be at The Glebe Fishery from 8.30am to 9.30am and fishing times are from 11.00am to 4.00pm.
